RepoWorth and evidence overview

RepoWorth is the repository page and report family. Its primary current-codebase metric is Estimated Rebuild Value, or ERV.

ERV estimates the development effort for a capable engineering team already familiar with the codebase to recreate the measured, as-is software at the stated commit.

ERV is not a company valuation or build-vs-buy estimate. It does not price revenue, brand, market position, customer relationships, intellectual property, field expertise, or the experimentation and discarded work that led to the current implementation.

Start with evidence coverage, report date, and commit. Then review authored tokens, complexity, maintainability, verification, activity, contributors, releases, and accepted changes.
