Does RepoWorth use stars or popularity?
No. Stars can provide community context, but they do not change the deterministic valuation. RepoWorth is based on measured code, complexity, development economics, and versioned formula rules.
Does CodeValuation.com store the repository source?
No. Public source is evaluated in memory. The system stores derived measurements, the evaluated commit, and the formula version, not a copy of the repository source.
Can maintainers control a contributor profile?
Each contributor controls their own claimed profile. Repository owners can control access to private project information, while public GitHub evidence remains attributable to its mapped GitHub identity.
Can every public repository appear in an index?
No. Public index eligibility requires verified membership, deduplication, fork and mirror review, consistent model versions, a sufficient sample, and qualified source coverage. CodeValuation.com publishes the exclusions and limitations with each released index.
